Declared / Level 3 Electrical Equipment
Declared / Level 3 electrical equipment must be approved and certified, prior to sale. It is an offence for a person to sell declared/level 3 electrical equipment unless the electrical equipment has been approved and certified. Our electrical assessments are set up to ensure that the equipment meets the safety criteria of AS/NZS 3820 and the requirements for electrical equipment set out in the AS/NZS 4417 series of standards.
Non-Declared/Level 1/Level 2 Electrical Equipment
Non-declared /Level 1/Level 2 electrical equipment does not have to have electrical safety approval certification prior to sale, but you have a legal obligation to ensure equipment is electrically safe. Our electrical assessments are designed to ensure that non-declared electrical products meet the relevant Australian standards. This way, you can be confident that the products you are selling are safe.
CE Marking and Certification
CE marking and certification is not recognised in Australia or New Zealand. Our electrical assessments are designed to test equipment to the applicable standard and certify it for sale. This ensures that you are compliant with the safety standards, while also providing the highest quality of product for your customers.
